What is this? Dumeril boa problem.
Recently I bought dumeril boa and I noticed that he has in the tail a small lump. Who could it be? It doesn't affect a movement. Thank you for the answers!

That could be a lot of things from a kink in the spine to a cyst or abscess. For a proper diagnoses it would take a visit to a good snake vet.

I'm going with this. And if it were a kink it should have been disclosed by the seller - some are mild enough they can only be felt but not that one.

Yeah, it could be any number of things and no matter what we think it is it's not going to get better or go away. That swelling needs evaluation by a herp vet. Just out of curiosity, was the swelling there when you purchased him?
Stay in peace and not pieces.

Was it there when you got them, and where did you get it from? If it's local to you, I'd take it back.

This boa from Hamm 2016-03-12. I don't see it when he was in the box... When I arrived at home I saw it and I didn't think that I have a good local vet somewhere near because I live in the small country. Bad news and new purchase...

Unfortunately since you had the chance to put eyes-on the snake before you paid for it I think your options are limited with the seller.
I would take it to the vet and figure out what is going on with it. If it's a spine kink then that will not go away and you have a nice pet; kinked animals can live normal lives as long as they can eat, poop, and shed successfully but I would never breed one. If the problem is something else then the vet will have to determine a course of treatment.
