Ok. I'm also considering a coastal hatched may 2014. He is only 100g at almost 2 years. Is that ok/normal?

My Carmel Coastal that I got from Nick is a 2014 and she was 85g when I got her a few months ago. She is now over 200g. They gain quick and I feed her on a 5-6 day schedule unless in shed. She's a little piggy!

My 2014 Caramel Coastal was 85g when I got him in early September 2015. He's over 600g now. He eats every 6-7 days. I'm pretty sure Nick feeds most of his snakes f/t.

FYI I received an answer to the question about f/t from Nick and he says since he raises his own rodents he feeds live but assured me the specimen I'm looking at will make the switch no problem. I'm thinking this won't be a problem because from what I've heard coastals are aggressive eaters. Right?

They can be. In my experience most carpets will take just about any meal without hesitation. I've hard of a few sticklers, though.

T- Great job on doing your research in advance. It sounds like you're ready to join Team Morelia. You've got an empty enclosure, a top notch breeder with some amazing animals, and a ton of support from all of us here. I've seen those critters you're looking at. You've got some really cool choices. You kinda can't lose on this one. A carpet is a great addition to any collection. Go for it bud! I'm 99.5% positive you won't regret it.

Yeah ziggy. I'm thinking with all the help on this forum we can't fail so I'm pulling the trigger tomorrow. I'm already waiting on the FedEx guy. lol. This is the guy we have decided on. Not sure why he's the cheapest one but he looks great to us. What do y'all think?

    I sure like him!

    Hoping for a safe journey.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
