    Re: Pine shavings.

I hate to break it to some of you ladies but:

    - You can't get an STD from a toilet seat.

    - Baldness does not come strictly from your mother's side.

    - There is no Easter Bunny.

    - Buying a Harley does not make you tough.

    - Ordering a diet coke with that double Whopper value meal really isn't going to make much of a difference.

    - Your snake does not love you.

    - Good people die in horrible ways and some bad people live long lives and do so behind the wheel of a Bentley.

    - The size of a man's hands and feet do not indicate that a third appendage is also of a similar size.

    - When you die, the world will run just fine.

    and lastly:

    - Pine bedding is not harmful to snakes.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is doing nothing but repeating something someone else regurgitated on a forum.

Also, if everyone was a little more sarcastic the world would be a better place.
Well, I certainly messed that one up. I need to proof read more gooderer.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

    Thumbs down Wow

So, I'm jumping in late, here, but I'd just like to point out that MANY species of snake/reptile live almost exclusively in PINE forests, so the blanket statement that "pine is toxic to all reptiles" doesn't hold water with me, AT ALL. I don't have time to point out all the individual RIDICULOUS things people have said in this thread, and I don't know if anyone involved will ever see my reply anyways, but this has been one of the most uneducated threads I've ever come across! *removed TOS violation*

First post to revive a 6.5 years old thread with this type of attitude?

You know there have been more recent discussions? You could even have created a new thread!

You have a PM I would encourage you to read it

"Oh honey, our 7 yr old BP died. Let's go buy a new one."
Or the pet stores that are like hey buy hot rocks and UTHs and half logs and put em all in and get the vines to climb on. That way your BP can get burnt, live in toxic conditions and climb to the screen top, burn its nose and fall back down.

    Damn you Petco...!!
So... about feeding your bp fodents that lived on pine? Ok or no?

7 years thread and the member you are asking a question to has not posted since 12-20-2011

Creating a new thread would have better results.
