    Actually, I would limit handling to the minimum needed for cage maintenance until your new little blood is well settled in and feeding regularly. They can get easily stressed and go off food if they feel threatened. Some don't mind as much, but a baby isn't going to get "meaner" if you don't handle for a while. Also, if you have other snakes and this one's in quarantine, that's always another good reason to not handle at first.
