Surprise eggs!! Just when im down n out with the flu!!

First, congratulations and breathe. These snakes have been doing it for millions of years and believe it or not, without our help. As long as the eggs aren't collapsed from being too dry they will probably be just fine. Hope you feel better soon and looking forward to some little worm pics in about sixty days. You think a week with the flu is rough, wait until day 52 and your still wondering what's inside.

Just wanted to drop an update on this thread,

First off, rlditmars, you could not have been more right .... They are now on day 55 and I am about to pull my beard out and I look at the eggs through the incubator glass probably a minimum of 10 times per day

This incubation has went verbatim to every documentation I have read on the process, the only issue I have had was some minor mold that I noticed on day 44, but that was easily resolved with some athletes foot powder, I believe the cause of the mold was due to some wine that had soaked into the wooden handles on the shelves in the incubator (it was a non working wine cooler that was given to me) and when I spiked the humidity during operation as an incubator I believe that the wine stored in the wood seeped out and started the mold process as that is the only other place other than on the one egg that I found mold, but all is good now.

The top two eggs (I did not separate the clutch) started to dimple about day 50 and are currently well deflated so I am expecting them to pip with the next few days the other four I noticed lastnight were visibly starting to dimple, this I am taking as verification to an article I read relating to eggs in the top of an incubator pipping faster than eggs lower in the incubator even tho there is only really several inches difference in elevation.

Well all that being said, this is my first breeding and I'm learning, but I am paying attention to detail and soaking it all up It all started from a normal male pet and that stemed to this site so I could make sure I was properly caring for him and well, you guys know how it goes from there Thank you to everyone that has helped me out along the way so far and to everyone who has also posted their experiences so we can all continue to learn and improve the hobby. I hope to have some picture of some fresh little worms up within a week

Hey goodluck with the last couple of days of waiting must be almost to exciting als I am waiting for my first clutch which I expact around march 17th and i almost can't stand still cause I am that exited!!
