Mine just took a rat this week after refusing since last August. It happens. If the numbers are indeed good and the snakes weight is holding I would say you may have entered a common time in a BPs life where they drive their owner crazy refusing to eat. Mine doesn't bother me as I have others that well take care of refused rats. Wasting rats drives me nuts.

Ours has eaten twice in the last year. Get used to it.
95% of the time there is nothing wrong with the animal.
It's well documented that they refuse food, and if you search around on the forum you'll find several threads just like this one.
Wait it out and your snake will eventually eat.
Maybe get yourself a king snake, retic or boa constrictor to help with cleanup LOL!

Mine hasn't eaten since Oct or Nov, don't remember now as I don't really pay attention lol. I offer her food every 2-3 weeks when its my boas feeding time and if she decides to take one, i'll run down to the reptile shop and pick up another rat for my sunglow gal as my BP and sunglow eat the same size rat. If not, well no loss. I wouldn't worry about it unless the snake starts losing noticeable weight.

I think because those hides I usually only see for smaller snakes, so comparing to hide and bowl it looks kind of small, but compared to the cereal box, yea his head is big enough to have a 1000g body. It was kind of hard for me to unsee the head being so tiny lol
