Didn't/Don't want any arguments but LOL ^^^^ your very funny, my question was for the poster of this thread i didn't ask Montypython696 anything so why answer my question that was meant for him or her..... That's the problem with this "forum" if you don't like a persons response/question you don't have to post to it move to the next thread...

Sorry to burst your little bubble but this is a public forum and they dont work like that, anything posted is open for anyone to comment on... There isnt a thing wrong with this forum, the problem is the people who dont understand how public forum works, and then want to cry and complain when people dont act towards them exactly how they want and yes when someone comes on trying to down a member for asking legitamit questions of course the established memebers are going to say something, thats how it works on basically any forum you'll find.
If you cant handle people responding to your post then dont make one.

Op you did the absolute best thing coming here to ask questions, dont ever hesitate to ask questions your not 100% sure of the answer to

It's much better to ask questions now, then try to fix something later. I think one thing I would take away from all the advice I got starting and snakes, is to buy the best thermostat you can afford. With a quality thermostat, it's a lot easier to maintain proper temperatures.

Very true , one of the best tips I was given was to get a £10 / $13 Digital Temp gun ( with a laser) for spot testing the temps in all the crucial areas in the vivs ..

I had a corn snake not a ball python. Are you really trying to condescend me for wanting to take the best care of my animal?

You'd be surprised, its kind of what he does around here. But to stay on topic, OP this is by far one of the friendliest places to gather information on Ball Pythons, give or take 1 or 2 people. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Also I would highly recommend grabbing some books on the species, personally I have almost 10 different books regarding Ball Pythons, arm yourself with knowledge before you take the plunge.
    I've got quite a few...

good for you. I wish everyone would do their research before buying a species that they haven't kept before. I researched for months and bought several books on snakes (it was the bad old days before the internet was very useful) before purchasing my first snake. Through that process I learned enough to know that it was something I felt I could and wanted to do.
