    Re: Sick BP, HELP!

Thanks for the opinions everyone, however, i wasn't asking what you all thought I should do for their housing situation. I would appreciate getting advice on the questions i asked, not off topic opinions. As much as i keep hearing "it isn't an opinion to house them together" it really is. Its a personal preference and its what I choose to do, no amount of backlash from anyone on here is going to change that, so please save your comments.

As far as the vet goes, she went to veterinarian school specifically because she has had her own snakes for over 30 years and that's what inspired her to be a vet. It's her specialty. So i do trust her advice. That's why i sought her out specifically.

Yes, 30 day regimen. No she didn't give Baytril.

Housing them together is likely the cause of your issue, for the health of your snakes and to prevent a reoccurance, separating them would be the safer thing to do. There's no advantage to housing together for the snakes.

Ok, I'll give you that it is an option. It's just the worst option possible. But, you do you

Doesn't mean she's doing it right... Sounds like you're gonna listen to who you want, how you want, so enjoy.

And again, Good Luck and Godspeed

    Re: Sick BP, HELP!

So it's not a problem to house them together, but when one got sick you separated them... Hmm. So you think maybe if housing them separately could prevent both snakes getting sick together, and costing you double in vet bills, that's not reason enough to always house separate, besides other legitimate reasons? And if you didn't want people to comment on your housing situation then you shouldn't have made a specific number in a list on a thread titled HELP! We are helping. Regardless of you resizing it or not. Did you atleast get the other snake a culture swab? If not, and your vet didn't even suggest it sort of diminishes her credibility.
