That is not a lesser mojave. Lesser mojaves are pure white with blue eyes.

what you have is a plain mojave...

It is called the BEL complex. BEL means Blue Eyed Leucistic. An all white snake with blue eyes with very small differences. In the BEL complex is :

    Butter
    Mojave
    Russo Het Leucistic
    Phantom
    Mystic
    Lesser Platinum
    Mocha
    Special
    Daddy Gene

Mix any of these or put the same together and you get a BEL.

Your Lesser Harlequin and Mojave definitely can make a BEL but you do not have one currently.

Re: Need Help Verifying this morph please!!

Looks like a regular lesser to me. Harlequin Lessers have a stripe that runs down their back, like most harlequin morphs do.

Oh ok that's good to know thanks! At least I know I have a chance at a bell still lol . We are getting ready to breed for the first time this year and I'm still getting used to the genetics understanding lol. I appreciate your help and input. Here is another one I will be working on breeding this year as well .

could be, this is one of those morphs that it can be hard to tell sometimes. what did the seller tell you it was and how well do you trust them? If it is, it's not a great example, what do the sides and belly look like?

How big are these animals? Have your done your due diligence on reading about breeding? If i were you i would hold back a bit and do tons more research. Not to knock you but if you don't even know the morph you are dealing with or what it can produce how are you planning to breed? How do you plan on identifying any offspring? Are you prepared to take care of eggs and baby snakes? Maybe it was just how i read your posts but it does not seem that you are informed enough to responsibly go into breeding. Sorry if i am wrong but just my two cents.

Re: Need help verifying this morph!!

I have done a lot of research and have everything prepared I purchased and incubator this year as well as my hatchling rack. I have been doing lots of research on how to prep my snakes to be ready for breeding as well as. My males that are ready to breed this year are well above 800 grams and my females will be about a year and a half old by mid summer this year and they are already in the 1200 to 1300 gram range so they will be bigger by mid summer. It definitely is a lot to take in but I do make sure all my research is done properly. And the morph thing I'm still learning some about but with thousands of morphs I'm sure there will always be new stuff to learn there lol. But thanks for your input I definitely appreciate it.
