Thanks. It actually turned out really well. The maple is great it looks really nice. The stain possibilities are endless. You just want to make sure you seal it a few times to protect it from water damage. Also make sure all stain and sealant is water based. I would also see if there is a store that would cut the wood for you as that would be much easier. I was able to cut it at home but found that it was easier to let the store do it for me. Saved time and labor.
Did you purchase the 3/4 maple plywood from Lowes or the 1/4?
