I went to the Kansas City reptile expo today and found a decently priced incubator so they are in the incubator now thanks for the replies

Oh but one question about using the incubator, its a ZooMed Reptibator and ive been reading about incubation and EVERYTHING ive read talks about what substrate to use and i was curious, is the subatrate basically only used to keep the humidity up and not allow them to dry out? The repribator is made so u can put water in the bottom then a foam insert goes on top of that so it stays nice and humid in there already. Right now i have them in a plastic tub with no substrate and that tub is sitting on the foam. Do i absolutely NEED substrate still or is it fine with this setup since its nice and humid in there?
