Re: Disinfectant for racks and tubs

I am going to order that stuff from amazon. Do you rinse down the entire tub after you use it, or is it safe once dry to the snakes?

F10SC is completely safe once it's dry.

Tubs also get bleached once or twice a year.
    Ditto to this.

Though a little goes a long way in diluting and I no longer buy it by the gallon as it would expire before I could use it all. Now I get smaller quantities from the local feed store.

I just ordered this stuff. What kind of mixing does it require?

According to reptile basics they mix 1oz per gallon of water. I usually just fill a spray bottle half way and add a cap full. This usually lasts me around two weeks.

This specific one which is 2% is to be mix as followed

1 OZ (2 tablespoon) per gallon.

I use a syringe to measure and mix 3.75 ml per 32 oz spray bottle.
