I would have dropped her off at one of the local vets today. Yes, it's a lot of money to spend, but that's part of the hobby if you want to protect the rest of your animals.

(If you don't want to read the whole thing, the question is in all caps and after)

So I consoled the Limey at Royal reptilia, which is where I got her, and he asked me some questions and asked for pics of the 'infection'. He then came to the conclusion that my bedding and under tank heater combo was the problem. I have a zoo Ned under tank heater and I didn't really know about a thermostat to control the temp, so he explained it to me and said it happens all the time with heat mats. So I turned on the mat in her cage for about 5 hrs and checked the temp using a temp gun and the glass was almost 140'!!! I then Checked the newspaper which I was using as bedding and it was over 110'. So long story short, I got some cypress bedding for my other BP so he doesn't get hurt and I plan on getting a thermostat before I get another snake to prevent this from reoccurring, so my question is, WHAT IS THE BEST THERMOSTAT, I am planning on the herpestat as it is highly suggested but which model should I get? Or should I get a different type? I only will have 2 snakes running on it so which one. Thanks

Ok. I read this. Am I correct in assuming that you are using a UTH for your other ball python without a thermostat??? If so, unplug that darn thing now before your snake gets burnt or worse. The snake will burrow to get warm so the cypress bedding really isn't going to protect the snake at all. It is early in the morning so forgive me if I am wrong here.
