How to cool down a tub?

Hello, trying to get an answer to this question before the weather gets warm again so I can prepare.

My snake is kept in a building that gets very hot in the late spring/summer. Is there any way to cool the ambient temps so my snake does not overheat? Obviously i know to lower my thermostat but im worried about the ambients being too high

by the way this is regarding a rainbow boa not a BP. I need to keep my ambient around 72 degrees and sometimes my building can get over 80. JUst figured id get more of a response here. Thank you!

Here is another alternative if it gets in the mid 80'S simply use this as your advantage and instead of having a cool spot and a hot spot just use the ambient temp.

That's what I do from April/May to September/October (NO hot spot just ambient temp which is anywhere between 82 to 86)

I've kept BRB exactly as Deborah describes without issue.

Awesome. This is a one year old BRB. Not sure if that makes a difference. But again thank you very much for the useful post!
