They were both bumblebees too So final tally is 4 bees 1 spider and 2 pastel. I count 2 bumble bees, 2 lesser bees, 2 lessers and a spider.
Is your bumble bee male a queen bee or pastel female a lesser pastel? Of course butter and lesser are more or less the same thing, just to confuse things a little more.
Or has your female been paired in the past and not layed? Which could indicate retained sperm.
