lol He never read the books, he had no clue! The name would have fit him, but alas it was not to be.

I can't get my fiance to read them either. He made it to book 7 and stopped...it took 3 years for him to get that far He's more of a space / Si-fi type

Well, if you want to give the snakes a 48x24 floor space, I’d still recommend two T8 or T10, you’ll save some cash and the snakes will be perfectly content. I’m not in the “a cage can be too big” camp. As long as there are enough hides (I think 5 in a 40 gal should suffice!) and cover. What’s can be stressful for the BPs is a large cage with wide open spaces. No matter the size/height of the cage, you can be sure the snake will explore every inch of it in its never ending quest to get out. However, I don’t believe that a 24 tall cage will provide the snake with any benefits that will lead to a ‘happier’ healthier snake. I also don’t believe it’s detrimental in any way. That T60 is going to be very unwieldy, definitely a two person cage.
Nonetheless, it is of course your choice and your money. Enjoy your snakes

I can relate to your dilemma my friend. Snakes are like a bag of Lays potato chips, it's damn near impossible to have just one. Most of the more exotic morphs are out of financial reach for me as well, but there are still many beautiful yet affordable morphs out there. A lot of breeders will also take payment plans for more expensive specimens so that's an option you might look at. I've also heard that a lot of breeders got their start by trying to offset the cost of their hobby by selling the offspring of the snakes they already had. Going to reptile conventions is always a stressful time for me, I love to see all the exciting morphs out there, but then I get to wondering if there are any personal belongings I could sell or well, you know what I mean. Personally, I just have to save my money, be patient and before long, I can usually afford what I'm looking for, it's just an act of discipline. Just a note here, it's currently illegal to sell any bodily organs on eBay...lol.

I wish I had a smart phone when I was in school.. Just saying, haha. An Axanthic Pied would be awesome. Pied's are growing on me, haha. The new section hurts, my heart goes, "That one!" and my bank account goes nope. It's depressing. ;P
