I've seen people feeding chicken and quail before, it's fine, I've offered quail to a couple of my snakes and they haven't shown any interest. I hear it makes for a messy end result but short tails go so infrequently anyways. My cages are 4' x 2' x 11.5", some people go for a taller cage, little harder to heat but easier to get in and out of. They don't move around much but like to trash the cage when they do.

Morph wise, I don't know exactly what mine are considered, the parents were blonde superstripe x ultra. I don't breed so don't really care but I don't think she's exactly a normal. This is my male and I think he has granite sides.

I haven't seen any black borneos, but p. curtus are usually black/brown. I have a chrome head male p. curtus, they tend to be lighter, not as jet black as the ones with black heads. He's really dark in this pic but often is more silver.
