If you could only have one more snake... what would it be?

A Dumerils Boa is next on my list. But I keep grabbing Carpets!

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Just wanted to add.... I've found a few Woma breeders in Canada and there's a good chance I can get one!! I've been watching loads of youtube videos and reading every care sheet available. I think I might have found my last snake... as sad as that is!

Boaaaaa get the BCI! Live my dream for me.

If I could only have one more forever? Probably a frosted/blizzard Emerald Tree Boa.

Easy . A Cape File snake . One of my few regrets was having to sell the one I had to pay for my Snow Boa ... I'd waited years for the Cape File but even longer for the snow .

Trouble is Cape Files are like rocking horse dung .

A Brazilian Rainbow Boa or Irian Ajay Carpet Python. I was thinking about a Woma and had asked a guy about the one he had for sale and he said that it was a bastard to work with (even asked if I had any other snakes since his was so hard to deal with - been tagged a few times and wouldn't touch it without gloves on). I saw a couple at the expo here on the weekend and they are a sharp looking snake.

I've always fancied a Hypo BRB , spectacular colouring but they're triple the normal BRB prices and hard to find as well

I've also had Womas in the past and they are real special snakes ...... always very inquisitive rather like Retics in that respect .

The two I had were yearlings but never showed any nastiness of any kind . They were active during the day as well which was a bonus . Love their "spectacles " and I'm kinda drawn to Black Headed Pythons their slightly bigger relative ..

You can never tell, when somebody says "nasty" how bad that is or how hard it would be to work out. Not knowing the history of the animal it's hard to tell what kind of life it has had. I am really drawn to Rainbows and I think that this will be my next snake, probably a young one (have a small enclosure that would work fine). I held a two year old one on the weekend and it was a spectacular snake. I should have not let it go - should have plunked down the $$'s and taken him, then and there, deal with my wife when I got home (I have a birthday coming up in two weeks so guess what I'm pushing for?). I was at my first show/expo on the weekend and found it a bit overwhelming - so many animals to look at, so many people (in the way) and not enough time or people manning the desks to answer my questions, etc. But I did get to see some magnificent snakes - balls, boas, carpets, womas, etc, all sizes and ages, that part was really great and helped me somewhat.
