i wouldn't recommend either of these as a first snake. They can be pretty defensive as youngsters and frequently take some time to calm down. They're great snakes that will become easy to handle with time, but I think it best to have some snake handling experience before acquiring one. I would however recommend Sumatran short tails as they tend to be more relaxed than bloods or Borneos.Originally Posted by Boidae
