He's been proven to throw speckled pied offspring so whatever he has going on is genetic but I don't think anyone has isolated his gene or given it a proper name. Since 'gold dust' is the name for a super mahogany I'm thinking of changing it to 'digital' if I can prove it out to be a gene. I don't really know how one goes about claiming a new morph. He's 66% het for albino so if I can get my hands on a female albino het pied I might try seeing what happens there.

Nice to see my boy again and that he is doing well ! I hope your having good luck with him !

Always gotta feed the pied cravings!!

I will be keeping one or two of the 'pick of the litter' but other than that I will be selling any extra pixel pieds! I think I like 'pixel pied' better than gold dust since gold dust is already a morph.

I love that gold dust pied, the pattern really does looks like pixels. It's almost like the graphics you'd see in an old space invaders video game.

I totally forgot about this thread. Go for it. Glad I could help. Now I need to get some pied for myself.
