Re: Other herps/snakes on your wishlist?

The next snake I get will most likely be an Amazon Tree Boa. With the rack being completed soon my BPs will be moving into that which means I'll have no critters in my office. I work from home. My wife convinced me to move them out of here because I might freak out a client, but I have to have SOMETHING in here to look at. ATB seems a good choice.

I would not mind some Kenyan Sand Boas down the road either. Really cool snake.

Re: Other herps/snakes on your wishlist?

Honestly, despite their mild venom, I love Asian vine snakes. I got the opportunity to see a pair in person this year after years of admiring them in photographs. Something about the way they move and look really intrigues me. So you'd better believe that the day I find a CB Asian vine snake at a show, I'm going to pounce on that offer!

Oh, and ground boas, BRB's, African house snakes, and woma pythons are all on my wishlist for the future, too.

As quiet as its kept, due to the Federal Protection, I would love to have a 2.2 group of San Francisco garters (T.S. TETRATENIA). Also would like to own a 1.1 pair of eastern indigo snakes ( Drymarchon couperi). Unfortunately they are state and federally threatened but can be obtained with proper licensing.

I forgot to mention the Angolan Python.

Also, no one seems to keep these, but what a kool little snake: the Cereberus rynchops, the dog-faced water snake. Comes with that cute-as-pie Anaconda head, but in a manageable size.

I already got one of my dream snakes. My little brazilian rainbow boa is pretty cool. I'd like a Mexican Black Kingsnake but I'm nervous about the musking and random biting, aka 'tasting'.

I really, really want a tortoise but I'm on overload right now. I've got an albino and yellowbelly bp, a brb, a german giant hypo beardie, a dog and two cats!

As for Bp's, I want a BEL and I really want a pied!

Jealous!!! I forgot to put them on my list! I have never seen these guys in person, but would love to get my hands on a pair. I have been thinking once I get my Blueys in their new cages I might have to fill their old cages with a pair of the pinks! Can't wait to see some pictures!
