Not sure if there is a one correct answer for this question but here's what I do. Once the hatchlings are all out of their eggs, I take them to the sink and give them a rinse. I put the whole clutch in a shed box with really wet papertowel and a water dish. I have a heat cable stretched out on my workbench in a way that the cable doubles back creating 2 parallel lines about 4" apart. I set one end of the box on the cable with a little something to prop up the other end of the box. This keeps contact with the heat cable even at the 2 points. I leave them all in there until they all shed, generally 5-8 days. Then sort, sex and separate them into their individual tubs.

Again, this is just my method, others may keep them in the incubator. It works for me and hope it does for you too.
