    Hgw(g)

not sure if there is a simple short answer to this question but if there is please give it to me.

Hidden Gene Woma Granite (HGWG) and Hidden Gene Woma (HGW) are the same thing?

in other words when I breed my HGWG to a Lesser is there a difference between HGW Lesser and HGWG Lesser (Soul Sucker)?

I am asking cause I am gonna pick up this beautiful male HGWG poss. Vanilla and I do not want to label his offspring wrong.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

Many will say differently but I think they are the same. I feel the Granite part of it was just a mix-up in what they saw in the original animal. I have never seen a combo with a HGW and HGWG that looks different than the other so I'm inclined to say there is no Granite in HGW. Doesn't mean you can't add a Granite gene to it. But HGWG to me, is just HGW. Hope that helps.

WOBP has Granite listed as a Dominate trait and HGW as a Co-Dom trait.

When someone can show you the difference between a HGW and a HGWG, then you might want to worry about. I'll put it this way, I see an animal listed for sale as HGWG, all I read is HGW.

    X2.

Advertise your babies as HGW. If the mythical granite gene pops up, consider it a bonus to your customers. Soulsuckers are HGW X Lesser. Forget the granite part.
