I hope everything gets straightened out quickly. I use a herpstat4 but before it I had a used herpstat1 I've had no issues with either. Plan on using my 1 for my incubator now

I use Herpstat and they are literally the best thing I have ever bought reptile related. Sounds like the shipper banged it around till something on the circuit board broke loose. I have little doubt that they will replace it if the problem is found to be theirs or the shipper.

Herpstat is THE go-to company for reliable and safe thermostats in this hobby. I have absolutely no skin in the game to recommend them but will do so 100% of the time to everyone who asks. I am certainly not alone here.

Not everything we do goes according to plan. Luckily for us, there is always time between action and reaction that allows to have the ability to choose how we respond to adversity.
What? Who am I attacking or questioning exactly and at what point was he helping rather than just making a comment in which I agreed with. Wasn't taking it personnal at all thanks guys and or gals. Goodness gracious.

Sorry about your problem Leo. Hope it is resolved quickly.

I just ordered an H-2 yesterday. I paid for the insurance just in case.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

This is the part I interpreted as questioning the motives of the assistance you were receiving. As in, "Why are you sticking up for the company that just did me wrong? The only reason I can think of is because you have a friend that works for them." The internet is a wonderful thing so if I'm completely off base here, my apologies.
