You actually trust this jerk not to put up a fight on getting it back?
I would have dropped him as a friend, and if he ever asked, I would have told him it died.
I guess I'm just old and jaded.

Your friend obviously wasn't caring for him very well, and I understand you wanting to get him back up to weight, but feeding him every day is no good either. Hopefully you get lined out on how to properly care for the snake yourself, and there are a lot of knowledgeable people here who will help you

Just seen ur message has your snake eaten yet.. ball pythons are finicky eaters.. I had a 2 yrs old ball python stopped feeding I had to make her a hide box to make her feel comfortable. Didn't bother her for a week before I fed her. But she only took a large mouse. She did not want a rat.

Yea he still hasn't eating and I have tryed everything from small rats asf and mice of all sizes I was thinking it may have been because of the breeding season but he should have gone back on food if that was the case but I'm going to try your hide box idea and he is always left alone as I'm trying not to stress him out anymore then he maybe
