Hey everyone

I don't want to but I can't help getting my hopes up!!

I know you guys must get tired of only seeing some locks but to me it is very exciting.

This was at 5 am European time



and this was about 6 and a half hours later



I am not sure if it is the same lock or a new one, I think it is a new one as they changed position quite a lot but hey, I am happy with it!

The reason I do not want to get my hopes up is that I know there is a lot that can happen and the fact that they are locked multiple times whenever I introduce the male to the female doesn;t mean she will go but I just can't help myself.

I hope you aren't getting to bored with the lock pictures.

I'm in the same boat right now, pairing the snakes up and anxiously hoping for the best. So I totally get it! Every lock is exciting at this point.

My one girl who locked consistently every time I put a male in, is now in shed. I'm trying not to get my hopes up either, but it's a good sign! So seeing that many locks is encouraging, I think.

if there is one thing I am hoping for it is that she will go, if she does go I am hoping to hit a Calico Lesser Pastel, I know I have a shot at a Calico Lesser Super Pastel but that feels like asking to much for my first clutch haha

Super pastel calico lesser (well, butter) is my dream snake.
I would imagine the lesser combo is very similar, but "Buttered Rum" wouldn't make much sense for the name.

Pastel calico lesser is also amazing, so you're set either way IMO.

Yeah my idea also that they should be pretty much the same.

the pic's of the Buttered Rum are of hatchlings and this one already has some size so I guess they will color up the same and I guess the quality of the Lesser and Pastel gene play a big part in how they will grow up
