Perhaps both parents are also yellowbelly? Perhaps you have yourself an ivory morph?

This was actually suggested by another breeder. He seems to think there's another gene going on and he was going to consult someone else, but I haven't heard back from him. Doesn't look like the Lesser has yellow belly in her but I don't know the markers and haven't bothered to look because I personally don't think other genes are going on in them. They'll be shedding this week/weekend and I'll see if her eyes change.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well black eyes with a red pupil is a black eyed lucistic and the only possible way for one of them to be made as far as i know is with two snakes carrying the fire gene... both must have been het for fire

Fire is a co-dominate gene I believe, not recessive. So the parents are not exactly "het" for fire. Possibly carrying fire... but I doubt it. The sire would be WAY more lighter if he had fire in him I'd say. The dam also doesn't look like she has fire. I read it's not unusual to have red pupils in Blue Eyed Lucys, don't know how true that is. Talked to a breeder at a show that said genes influence eye color in BEL's, so it could just be the pastel and spider influencing her eye color. As I mentioned before though, her eyes are not black, they are grey.

My guess could be the Spider messing with the eye color, As for pastel, they dont much mess with the color, those def arnt fire. But i can only think its the spider, they mess with alot of things. From spots to nana's and alot of saddles on the pied (even full white pieds{coconut pied}) Regardless awesome little clutch you hatched out!

I have hatched a few of them and have seen them grow. I have never seen their eyes lightne up. My first BEL hatched with dark eyes and they stayed dark.

Here's some updated photos post shed!

Eyes are still the same as before. Very dark, red pupils. Looks pretty wicked. My guess is that she has Pastel or Spider or both in her influencing her eye color.
