I've never owned a Tegu, but just judging by their grumpy looking faces, it fits pretty well.

I've yet to experience this (only had one small bite) but I can only imagine scrambling for a phone while dripping blood is awful/hilarious. 
You're super excited to find another use for your temp gun... Even if that use is to check the temp of your malfunctioning refrigerator. #HerperProblems

Haha! I have totally run around my house with my temp gun to see what temp everything is.
