    first snek is silly snek

I wasn't under the impression that BPs were prolific climbers, but the first thing our new Super Pastel boy did once we left him alone in his new enclosure was to climb up and hang out on the thermometer suction-cupped to the glass. Oh snek, y u so silly.

Cell pic, filter used to try and simulate true color - results are eh, sorry for potato quality. [snek] has stopped hanging around and has taken up residency inside his hidey-hole and is being a shybe, I'll try and get a better picture after he's taken food and I can start handling him (next week or later).

    Cheers!

Yeah, my ball has a tendency to knock the thermometer/hygrometer off almost every night (sometimes it's just twisted around in some way). Occasionally she'll hang out at the top of her leafy/viny plants. Usually that's her way of saying that she has a surprise in there somewhere for me - go find it and dispose of it!

Haha, good to know! :) The shop said that he ate last Tuesday, we haven't fed him at home yet, but I'll keep an eye out for any "presents", thanks for the tip! ;)

My ball python does that too. We gave her a branch but she prefers her thermometer.

Nice looking snake you have there!

Climb? Oh yeah, even at 13, mine loves to explore and climb.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

My BP, Severus, also likes to climb things. This photo was before he got too big to wrap himself around his temp and humidity gauges.

Pic heavy but Snow loves to climb. If you didn't know she was a ball you wouldn't guess it. Spends more time on something then in her hide. Old pics too. Ive since added tons more stuff to climb, although shes getting to thick to fit between the cage and screen now.

That's my daughter's room, however I have always enjoyed her taste in music, even though I don't personally have the music.

Oh my god, I am absolutely having a laugh at these climbing snakes!! XD Good to know, though - DH was remarking that I should contact the shop and ask if it was normal behavior, since we hadn't come across anything of the sort... I'm happy to see that he's in good company. Thanks for all the pictures! <3 I look forward to being able to post a few of my own.
