Mine hasn't pooped for a month, (Nov 2014) and shes had about 7 rats fuzzies so far. It's amazing how efficient their GI tract is!

Re: how often are they supposed to poo?

I'm glad I found this post as we were wondering the same thing.

We fed our BP a small mouse, then 5 days later a smallish rat (he let us know that he was hungry again). One week later (last night) I found a poop in the corner of his enclosure. Let's just say that it was a surprise to find something the size of what our cat leaves in the litterbox. LOL

Haku was a bit cranky 2 days prior to relieving himself. He'd left a few urates and some urine between/after feedings, but I guess he finished digesting everything. Oddly, he rearranged his enclosure a bit prior to pooping. We have 2 hides in there - 1 over the heat tape and 1 in a cool spot. He'd moved the hide over the cool spot, had moved around a lot of the cypress mulch, and was hanging out in the enclosure as far away from where he'd pooped as possible.

We're wondering if he's a clean freak or something.

Most often, yes. They're moist when fresh, but harden up pretty quickly.

Yeah, if you smell it when it's fresh, it's best to clean it up right away. Much easier. If it hardens, it sometimes turns into something like cement.
