What did you use heat wise?

I had stryo foam insulation on the back and sides with 11 inch hate tape. With about 15 holes in tub. Low side never dropped below 73 in the dead of MN winter With the closet doors closed. Had a lamp in the closet for light

What was the room temp around? Sounds like something very similar to what I could do

A small space like a closet is a far better option over the rack with an self heating method. It can be done but it isn't easy I have done it but based on my experiences I would not recommend it at all.

So you didn't use any sort of space heater or anything? This might be what I should do.. When I build it, before I go crazy I'll try the closet and see. Seems like a solid idea.

How about using dual side radiant heat like animal plastics? I don't know why those aren't more popular.

Mainly bc it would double the price of the rack lol

Get a little thermostat controlled space heater from walmart... its like $15...
