    Anybody else make lists?

    Every time I find a reptile I just can't stop thinking about, I make a list. So far, 10 snakes are on this list x.x Oh my word, I am in trouble lol. Here it is:
    Black Blood Python
    Butter Ball
    Lesser Ball
    Albino Ball
    Brazilian Rainbow Boa
    Dumerils Boa
    Central American Boa
    Hog Island Boa
    Solomon Island Ground Boa
    Western Hognose
    I spend every moment of free time reading care sheets, watching videos, and learning anything at all possibly relative to owning them so I'm ready. The addiction has begun...and I only have one BP that is actually MINE.. the rest of the snakes we have are split amongst the household... Oh, and I'll be adding certain lizards to this list as well...

    1.2 Normal
    1.1 Red-tail
    0.1 Albino corn
    2.1 Ball Python(Sterling, Boots, & Eden)
    1.0 Kenyan Sand Boa(Anakin)
    0.1 Bearded Dragon(Beatrix/Trixie)
    0.1 Kitty Cat(Willow)
    1.0 Chihuahua(Panda-Bear)
    2.0 Betta Fish(Finnley & Pescado)
    0.2 Rats(Mishka & Laney)

    Every year I have a to buy list and a hold back list to further specific projects and to upgrade and expand my collection.

    So yes there is a list.

    I had a nice list of ball pythons I wanted to add this year, and then the Lacey Act list expanded to include retics. So, I picked up several retics and now my snake budget is tapped out until next spring.

    I'd also really like to pick up a Dominican Red Mountain boa at some point, probably a male to keep as a pet and not for breeding.

    Right now I have a male albino and female yellowbelly. I just can't get anymore right now. My mom would murder me. Seriously. But that doesn't stop me from having a list

    In the future I for sure want:

    - blue eyed leucistic ball (that's my dream snake!)
    - pied ball

    Oh there's a list. Reptile expos always fall on my off weeks for being paid (curse you, biweekly pay schedule!) so it helps to have a ranked list of things I want and a vague timeline for when I want to acquire.

    BP morphs;
    lavender albino, axanthic, champagne, banana, and fire.

    Other snake species;
    High red BRBs, leucistic CRBs, Longicauda boas, IMG boas, and some motley boas. Reticulated pythons of various morphs come last, but they're definitely on my list.

    Lizards;
    Leachianus, frilled dragons, various tree monitors (blue!), and armadillo lizards or sungazers (I think these are endangered, so idk if I'll ever get one).

    The BP morphs are kind of ongoing and I'll get those as I find ideal examples of the morphs. The other snakes I'm thinking after I've started reliably producing with what I have and feel comfortable expanding, and the lizards as soon as I have a place with the space needed for some good setups. Can't just stick the lizards in bins, and I would want to raise my own feeders for them anyway. My husband has put his foot down on raising insects inside, so I'm good on waiting. My ultimate goal is to convince my husband we should both quit our jobs and open an exotic pet store

    Nothing wrong with that. I have more snakes strictly as pets than as breeders.

    Don't blame you, lots of animals can be really cool as pets and not very promising as far as breeding goes. The sungazers I mentioned only have 1 or 2 babies every other year. Awesome animals, less than ideal breeding. The frilled dragons are also pretty neat, but the holy grail of frilled dragons, the Australian frilled dragon, is hard to find and about 4 times the price of the new guinea variety when you actually find it. There's a specialty shop near me that has an adult Australian and it's a golden beauty that I just have to have...

    I make lists all the time but the problem is they're always changing. On top of my list now is a desert ghost female and a carpet python to expand the collection a little.
    6.13 Ball pythons
    1.0 Hypo Jungle Boa
    0.1 Irian Jaya Jaguar Carpet
