The snake is 2.5 feet long and 2 inches around. X.x I'm hoping she's on the porch where I can't see her

She may have gotten out unless I'm thinking of a smaller snake.... Have you checked te area outside the porch? Flip all rocks and look behind all the stuff

Yes we have checked it day and night every day since she left. It's impossible to find her

All I can think of is to just keep looking. Give the funnel trap I mentioned earlier a shot. First with no prey inside, then with a f/t inside the next night.

    Sorry you lost your snake...

Just wanted to share how I secured my glass tank with a screen lid like that. I used luggage straps from the dollar store and just wrapped them around the tank and tightened them, buckling on top. It worked awesome. When I switched to tubs, I started using the straps on them because the seal wasn't tight in the middles. They just work awesome.

Absolutely more than enough space under the door. These animals can smell fresh air and freedom! The clip on the tank are the same clips I have and I can tell from the photo the clips are on wrong! Brother, you have the clips upside down! There is no tension on the lid the way you have them applied or not applied. Wow! At least two security breeches exposed by the photos. The bp definitely is outside I can tell you that. Good luck and don't give up but I think you need to concentrate on the outside and the yard. Stay in peace and not in pieces!

Thanks for letting me know! I'll fix that promptly! Meanwhile, I have my MIL telling me if she comes back to sell her >. <

Have you looked it up? It's simple! It can be a big 10 gallon bottle thing, it could be like the screen on your porch from Home Depot. If not that, then maybe place a hide or two alone the edge of your house/porch
