How big was the snake? That gap looks big enough for a snake to slip under. My pastel squeezed through the gap between her tub and the top of my rack even though it was less than half her width. I found her curled up in the corner of the space under my rack.

Absolutely more than enough space under the door. These animals can smell fresh air and freedom! The clip on the tank are the same clips I have and I can tell from the photo the clips are on wrong! Brother, you have the clips upside down! There is no tension on the lid the way you have them applied or not applied. Wow! At least two security breeches exposed by the photos. The bp definitely is outside I can tell you that. Good luck and don't give up but I think you need to concentrate on the outside and the yard. Stay in peace and not in pieces!
