    Surprise Clutch

So my ball python surprised me with a clutch this morning! Exciting! But completely unexpected. She never gave me any signs except for not eating. With that being said, I need an incubator. I'm planning on overnighting one, I just need advice on which one. This is my first and only clutch. Thanks!

Hey, you don't have much time! Reptibator by zoomed or Hovabator. You need a thermostat also. They both come with built in tstats but its best to put the incubator on a reliable tstat. Congrats, and good luck!

Moms wrapped them. Will the eggs be ok until tomorrow?

Its possible, but you really would be better off artificially incubating them and it would be safer for the eggs. And that is just IMO. There is a bit of controversy on the topic of maternal incubation vs. artificial. Since you are not prepared for the clutch just wing it and hope for the best. Did you order the incubator and thermostat yet? Good luck either way!

Yep, everything comes tomorrow. I've called everywhere and nobody carries incubators so that's really my only choice. I'm sure she will take good care of them until tomorrow tho thanks for the help

Hey CaGirl5;2333433, Great job! Those eggs look great! Did mom surrender them viciously or was it a smooth transition? Congrats!
