My pinstripe has had whistles every now and then for the last few weeks. Twice actually. Both lasted for about a minute and when I went to pick him up, he had on big one like he flinched and sucked in air. My accurite reads at about 65-70% humidity and ambients are like 89-84. Hotspot 88-92 (usually 91). I checked his mouth for mucus but the closet I saw was a little strand like if you spit on your fingers and pull them apart. I believe that little but is normal as there were no bubbles? I just fed him and he still eats like a monster, but tonight he yawned a few times after eating and the last time I heard whistling was last night. Is he just resetting his jaw, or do I need I get him into a vet?
I upped temps as soon as I heard the whistling. I also believe he is beginning shed and that may have caused the whistles. My pastel has the same issue but without the yawning. The whistles were there when I first got them a month ago, and now they are both beginning to shed and the whistles are back but only on occasion. The pastels whistling that started before I realized she was starting to shed was like a week ago and ended that day. So is it RI or just shed, and jaw resetting?
Edit: also the pinstripe is pooping nearly everyday. They look solid, but for all I know they may have dried by the time I've gotten to them. They are really small, like as soon as they are there he drops them rather than allowing for a large build up into a single turd(like my pastel).
