What should I breed to get cool morphs? (For Beginners)
I was wondering what I should breed to get some cool morphs. I am a beginner, but I have experience breeding normals. I like bumblebees, killerbees, super pastels, blu eyed lucys, and any other morphs that you guys like. Thanks. 😄👌

Make sure you read up on 'spider wobble' if you're thinking about a bee project.
My favorite base morphs are pinstripe and lesser. Combined, they make kingpins!

That all depends on what you want to produce.

0.1 Emerald Tree Boa 0.1 Dumeril Boa 0.1 Carpet Python 0.1 Central American Boa
0.1 Brooks Kingsnake 0.1 Speckled Kingsnake 1.0 Western Hognose
0.1 Blonde Madagascar Hognose 1.0 Columbian Boa
1.1 Olde English Bulldogge 1.0 Pit Bull

"Cool" is in the eye of the beholder. That said, if you like bees and some of the other light morphs, check out queen bees and calibees. They're top notch in my book!

What YOU like and what is in your budget are your main two considerations.
Third consideration should be instant gratification or long term project?
Don't breed something because of someone else's taste

It all comes down to deciding what you simply have to have. Look at some morphs, decide on a direction you want to go, and choose accordingly. I got my morphs knowing that I wanted blue eyed leucistics, whacked out patterns, and calico anythings. So my breeding collection is now 8 strong (plus 2 pets that I don't intend on breeding) with spider, pastel, pinstripe, mojave, lesser, cinnamon, calico, and albino (unproven het) in my gene pool.
I knew what I liked, found what I wanted, and am satisfied with what I currently have.

While many people refer to it as "spider wobble" or refer to it being directly linked to the spider gene, that is not the case as spider is not the only gene to have this (neurological disorder). Woma's and Caramel's (just to name a few) are also known to have issues with wobble head. Some snakes (including spiders) don't show any signs of wobble at all, while others have such severe cases that it has been named "corkscrewing".

Start with what you own and move up from there.
Breed what interests you and plan on keeping them too.

Pastel to mojave or butter to enchi.
