    Thermostats will have a basic socket for the plug of the heat pad.
    Basically what it does is limit the amount of electricity going to the heat pad, causing it to put out less heat.

    That's so cool! I wouldn't know how to set it up though. Not sure if I should do back heat or belly (not quite sure I understand the meaning) and I definitely don't know what goes where when it comes to mounting devices and probes.

    Belly heat will be best.
