Any thermostat should work as long as your heat pad can plug into it.
Be careful about quality though, a bad thermostat can cause a life threatening situation.

Also (sorry for bombarding you) how does the heat pad plug into the thermostat?
Thermostats will have a basic socket for the plug of the heat pad.
Basically what it does is limit the amount of electricity going to the heat pad, causing it to put out less heat.

That's so cool! I wouldn't know how to set it up though. Not sure if I should do back heat or belly (not quite sure I understand the meaning) and I definitely don't know what goes where when it comes to mounting devices and probes.
