I remember in another thread concerning mites, someone said they sprayed PAM on a paper towel, then placed that in the BP's tub once it dried.

Is it safe to leave that in with the animal?

Yup! That's the easiest way to do it. If you have, say, 10 tubs. Then unroll 10 sheets of paper towel. Spray them all - wait for it to 100% dry. Then toss 1 sheet of papertowel in with each tub. Then go have a relax and wait...
