So if on the warm side you had a nice big hide that had plenty of room, then on the cool side you had a real nice tight fitting hide, you don't think your BP would choose the most secure hide over the warm hide? He most probably would.

That's exactly what I have right now, and the snake sleeps all day in the big warm hide, then comes out of it at night.
