How many grams is the male? Is he producing sperm plugs yet? I've heard of males being bred pretty young, but if they have immature hemipenes or aren't producing sperm plugs then it doesn't really matter. Either way, if they aren't breeding I wouldn't feel comfortable putting a smaller male in with a much bigger girl. You say it's all you can afford, so just imagine the cost of having to replace the male.

They aren't breeding yet, but for them to breed they need to be introduced. First introductions regardless of the male size may lead to this type of situation where nothing happens.

As for size difference I have paired 600 grams males with 3000+, even a 4000 grams females without any issues.

Do you recommend not to put a male and a female with a significant size difference together for breeding because of your own experience or something you read, I would love to know since I never heard of such situation going wrong.

You have to remember that "common sense" eludes many people! I would like to know how a person tells "immature" from "mature" hemipenes.
