Great collection! Wow, those whitewash combos and even the single gene normal whitewash are incredible!

They all look great. I've never heard of white wash ball pythons. Can you tell me more about them. Eg how to produce them etc. Thank you.

whitewash is a new simple ressessive gene discovered by Piet Nuyten in the Netherlands. They were working on a vpi snow project and had weird paradoxism going on in the babies and it turns out there was an unknown gene at work. It's basically an inheritable paradox. It's a gene scrambler. I'm not sure if they have been able to separate the whitewash gene yet 100% as separating three ressessive genes is a daunting task but it's been proven genetic over the last few years. I'm pretty sure it's not in worldofballpythons.com yet because they haven't separated the gene yet. The only way to produce is to buy hets or visuals from Piet. I don't think anyone else in the world has a pair of breeding size whitewashes and has produced babies yet. He just started selling a few last season and only a couple to the US. I may have the only pair of visuals in the US. So everything I produce will be visuals.

***Be careful*** You may develop a wicked obsession that drives you to do crazy things. Haha I've only been back into balls since summer and by the time my last aquisition (until I produce a few and sell a few) must be attained to start my soon-to-be business I'll have spent an obscene amount of money on 9 ball pythons. After I finish up paying off my fire clown and whitewash pair I have to get a male black pastel pied. Then I'll be done for a lil while. Let the bank account go back up a bit. Hopefully I'll produce a snow high axanthic/whitewash cause that would pay for everything AND a vacation. Haha

I hear ya. I was going to breed balls, gtp's and ATB'S BACK in 2009 but I broke my heel, couldn't work for almost a year and had massive hospital bills so I had to sell everything

Yeah, I can't wait till she's paid off. She's over 400 grams so she's got a good start. I'm really excited about my whitewash pair though. Not cheap but could possibly pay off all my expenses to date and put my fledgling business in the green with a single high expression whitewash.
