    "Game changer".....REALLY?????????

Why is this phrase used when a new gene/morph/combo pops up? Ignorance? The ball python game has ALWAYS been to come up with something new, and "Get ahead of the game"! If government does to balls what it did to burmese, that will be a "Game changer"!

It just means will be high in demand, no need to read too much into it.

GHI, Banana, Pied were all game changers, no matter what your individual opinion of them is.

Alot of subtle morphs or less drastic morph compared to another such as sable or things like uncompatible hypo lines... were not as high in demand as the above, so not so much a game changer. Thus they are not in many collections even though they have been available just as long.

Probably the best definition of "gamechanger" i've seen !

Also correct! Per OhhWatALoser's definition, from a marketing perspective, you obviously want to hype the morph you just discovered to be "the next big thing", or "a game-changer". However, there are folks who see a crazy amount of potential from extremely subtle morphs (NERD, MLR, etc..) who claim to have gamechangers. I'm not saying that these guys don't produce game-changing morphs with their subtle base morph discoveries, or that they're simply marketing, when trolling the marketplace for some new blood to add to your collection, ignore all the marketing and opinions of the seller when it comes to the potential about that snake. Look at the evidence and decide for yourself .

Let's be honest, if you stumbled across a cool new subtle mutation, you'd want people to be excited for you too .

But yeah, back to Eric's comment.... don't sweat the small stuff .
