Is this the kind of moss we're talking about?

    Re: Keeping Moss Damp

Yes, but this is a better buy. http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Terrar...W4RDVDVAF23C0Q

I just break off what I need and save the rest for later.

Petco has it as does Petsmart. It also comes in a bag from Zilla. Both are good quality.

    This is what I use
    http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Labora...+sphagnum+moss

Its pretty much the same except the guy at the petstore said it can be rinsed out and re-used 2 or 3 times. I don't do that but it was the cheapest moss on the shelf so…..
Im just throwing around my opinions. Im trying to give as much help as I've received on this website

    1.0 Ball Python
    2.0 Red Clawed Scorpion

    (1.0 means Male right?)

Isn't that the same thing as what the other guy posted?

Yes, but in a larger size. Its a better value since moss doesn't go bad you just store the extra until you need it.

I also added some moss today and it did help my humidty so much, I'm not constantly spraying the cage to keep it high enough, what I did was got coco fiber and mixed it will the moss as the substrate and just soaked it as I mixed it to get it damp but not having puddles, I haven't sprayed all day and it's at about 60% now. Just out of curiosity how bad(if any) is that combination as a substrate?

That should be fine. I use the same mixture for my Pacman and it works great.
