Fire?

Two people have told me that my Marshall looks more like a fire than a pastel. He was sold to me as a pastel, but I always thought he looks a lot brighter than a pastel. I figured he must be a super pastel, or something along those lines. What do others think? Here are some pictures:

Interesting. To me, his snake and my daughter's pastel look very similar. What am I not seeing when comparing the pic of his snake to my daughter's pastel?
