She is either thicker than two short planks or a troll...now that this old lady knows what one is.

Oh yeah. I'm predicting either burns, or a bad case of RI in the next three months. I wonder if she will even be able to tell when it gets sick until the snake is way too far gone.

    Ok,

First off we do not allow personal attacks or name calling - so let's stop those before I have to resort to infractions please.

Secondly, as much as we can see the problems looming, it is her responsibility and her pet. I disagree on her understanding of what she has read but we are here to offer advice and we have done so.

You can lead a horse to water, but sometimes you just end up with a wet horse smell.

Let this one drop and give time for learning to occur.

I still think that if forum admins are telling her to use a thermostat and a heat lamp, that it is probably wise of her to listen. At this point, her negligence is grounds for having some sort of animal control called. This girl lives in Alberta, so I'm not sure what they have for Animal Control in Canada, but I'm guessing that their laws are probably stricter than US laws which may result in a hefty fine if not jail time.

Dr Del that is the smartest thing I have seen posted on this so for...Personally I think he/she is a troll, and everyone just keeps feeding into his/her story, and they are eating it up. Most likely sitting back in their butt laughing at everyone being in a stew over this..DONT FEED THE TROLL and it will leave

70f is way too cold. Last Thursday we had a power outage and my house got down to 70f. You know what I did, I woke up at 3am, started up my car and cranked the heater on, piled everyone into totes and we all spent the next 4 hours in the car with the heater going like Noah and the ark. It was miserable. I was tired as hell and cars are very uncomfortable after 4 hours. But you gotta do what you gotta do the take care of your animals. They depend on you for their safety and well being. Funny part was my bearded dragon didn't wake up through the whole thing. She finally woke up at 9am when her lights came on from the timers and looked at me like "why are you awake and why do you look so tired?" Bottom line is get that ambient up about 10f or you could have some health issues not to mention feeding issues.

The pictures are pretty convincing on her other threads....however she only posts pictures of the snake and not her setup or anything.

She did post one pic of her tank in another post ....... it is a 10gal tank with paper towel substrate, and a combination water dish/hide in the middle .

Hah Deborah you better get your key ready because this thread is probably going to end up locked just like the other one. This is like yelling louder and louder at a deaf person thinking that if I scream as loud as possible, maybe they will hear/listen to me. This girl has obviously closed her ears to everyone's advice so everyone should just save their breath and let it go. Or continue while I go grab another bag of popcorn. 0
