Mine almost always shed in their hide. Occasionally one will shed out of it. Totally normal.

Same, both my red tail boa and my bp shed in their hides and usually lay on it or my red tail boa will poop on it and then sit on the warm side of her cage till I open the door and see a ball of shed with a giant poop winking at me from inside her cat box hide. Of course another tell tale sign is when I open the door and she comes darting out trying to climb on my arm and shoulder as if saying "omg you left me in here with a poop for hours!!!"

My spider just shed this morning. I peeked in on her, and I saw the underside of her jaw shed hanging down.

Came back in about 20 minutes, and she had fully shed inside her hide. Not unusual.

It's fun to play the where will they shed and poop next game!
