Coco fiber/eco earth is so messy but it will raise the humidity. I used to use it for my red tail boa but I got so sick of it. Plus I actually had it mold on me on the bottom. I switched to finely shredded aspen and it works great. Of course this is in a Proline Modular cage with a Pro Product radiant panel which itself holds humidity very well without ever misting. During shed time, you could also just make a humidity hidebox. Just get a Tupperware, cut a hole in it, fill it with moist moss and you are set. Oh another thing about eco earth, if you let it dry out, it gets pretty dusty.
