My biggest male is 5 years old and sitting at right around 1500 grams. He's had a couple medium rats over the years and a few weeks ago got a large because of a feeding day mix up, but I feed my adult males no bigger than a small rat, normally. He's a nice, healthy boy.

I've just got my 3.5ft boy, he's not large by any means. When I weighed him a week or two ago he weighed just over 1400 grams, and is still slim and muscular and just got out of an 8 month strike ~2 months ago. He usually gets a small rat every 2 weeks, but mice have been giving me less of a headache so he gets a jumbo mouse every 2 weeks. This batch is 40-60 grams, with just a few smaller ones.

Re: Biggest Male BP
Wow, either those are some crazy big snakes or mine is a peanut! Now I'm kind of worried about him...
I have a 3-year-old (according to previous owner, I've had him 1 year) male who, as of last week, was 869g and 3.5 feet long. Granted, he hasn't eaten for about a month and a half, but he has never been anywhere close to 2000g, let alone 1500!! He is healthy, has good sheds, my husbandry is spot on and he's a happy, active, curious boy. Should I be concerned at all?

As long as he isn't losing weight and in shaped well. No you don't need to be concerned
